The Simple Mirror Cleaning Hack That Works
Shop NowOne of my favorite nontoxic cleaning swaps has been switching to a microfiber scrubber and squeegee for mirrors. All you need is water and it works shockingly well! I used to reach for glass cleaners every time I saw streaks or fingerprints, but they always left a weird haze and strong smell. Now I just dampen the microfiber scrubber with water, gently wipe the mirror, and follow with a squeegee. It removes water spots, toothpaste splatter, and fingerprints in seconds! The results are honestly better than any cleaner I have tried. The first time I did this in our bathroom I could not believe how clear the mirror looked! No streaks, no residue, and no chemicals floating around the house. I have also started using the same method on our glass shower doors and it works just as well. It is fast, simple, and perfect if you are trying to keep a more nontoxic home. Now a squeegee and microfiber scrubber are absolute must haves in my cleaning routine!
